Winnipeg police are searching for several suspects after a hotel bar in the city was robbed just after midnight.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of St. Mary's Road after receiving a call about a robbery at the Dakota Hotel.
Const. Jason Michalyshen told CBC News the suspects were armed.
"The suspects were observed by some witnesses of being in possession of possibly bear spray, a knife was described…also there's a possibility that a gun was in possession by one of the suspects," said Michalyshen.
He said the robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and got away in a car.
The vehicle was later found by police and it was discovered it had been stolen.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police describe the suspects to be males between five-foot-10 and six-feet tall, with slim builds.
