3 people charged for using bear spray

Three people are facing charges after using bear spray in two separate incidents on Friday night.
The first occurred when an 18-year-old man and woman were confronted by three people at Ellice Avenue and Banning Street at about 9 p.m. CST. Bear spray was used and the man had to be treated.
Later in the evening, near Notre Dame Avenue and Pearl Street, the woman and a 16-year-old boy ran into the same group of three people. There was a confrontation and bear spray was used.
Winnipeg Police arrested two men and an 18-year-old woman. The three accused now face several charges.
