Winnipeg teens charged in violent downtown robbery

A 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old man are facing charges following a violent robbery in Winnipeg’s downtown Wednesday evening.
Police said a 31-year-old man was robbed just before 9:30 p.m. at Broadway and Hargrave Street.
Though the man was injured in the robbery, he was able to flag down officers patrolling the area.
One suspect was found a short distance away and another was found several blocks from the scene.
Now, a 15-year-old girl is facing robbery charges, and a 17-year-old man has been charged with assault.
