Police tape has gone up around a rooming house on Balmoral Street in Winnipeg's Spence neighbourhood.
Police have not said what they are investigating at the rooming house in the 600 block of Balmoral, the CBC's Kiran Dhillon reports.
Officers interviewed people in the area earlier, Dhillon reported, including neighbours who called the house drug-infested.
A young woman who said has been helping the caretaker fix the home up said the majority of people who live here are in their 50s and nice.
However, she added, she's witnessed several alcohol-induced fights that were usually broken up by the caretaker.
