Winnipeg police investigate north-end shooting

Winnipeg police are investigating a shooting after a 24-year-old man was rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday night.
Officers were called to a hotel in the 300 block of Ellice Avenue for a report of a man who had been shot at about 9 p.m. CST.
Police found the man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body.
The man had been at a party in the north end of the city when the shooting took place, police said.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.
There aren't many details about what happened or possible suspects.
