One women is dead following a crash on Highway 280, north of Thompson on Wednesday.
RCMP said a 33-year-old woman from Gillam was driving a pickup truck when she lost control of her vehicle and drove into oncoming traffic.
Her truck hit another truck on its passenger side. The three people inside, a 62-year-old man from Split Lake, a 58-year-old woman and a five-year-old boy were all rushed to hospital.
The 58-year-old woman later died in hospital.
RCMP are now investigating the crash and said road conditions were slippery at the time of the incident.
Police will not be releasing the name of the woman who died.
