Woman dies after crash on Perimeter Highway

A crash Friday on the North Perimeter Highway has claimed the life of a Gimli, Man., woman.
The westbound lanes of the Perimeter, near Highway 6, were closed Friday morning after a Toyota sedan slammed into a pickup truck parked on the shoulder of the road.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP say she has since died in hospital.
No charges are expected in the crash.
