RCMP are investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy on a Manitoba First Nation.

The body was found Tuesday morning outside a residence on Wasagamack First Nation. His identity is not being released to the public.

An autopsy has been ordered and no further information is available at this time.

Wasagamack is a remote community located 610 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg and is accessible by plane and boat in the summer and by winter road in the winter.
