Multi-car crash closes Perimeter Highway in Winnipeg

A crash involving numerous vehicles shut down the Perimeter Highway in north Winnipeg on Tuesday.
The crash, which happened just after 8 a.m., initially involved three vehicles. A couple others then came along and hit the ditch to avoid a further collision.
RCMP closed the Perimeter's wesbound lanes between Henderson Highway and McPhillips Street for a couple of hours, reopening them just before 10:30 a.m.
One person was sent to hospital with undetermined injuries.
