Winnipeg police said they do not suspect foul play in the death of a woman found in the courtyard of a housing development in Tuxedo.

The 33-year-old woman was found dead in the courtyard of a Manitoba Housing Complex on Doncaster Street on Saturday.

After an investigation by the homicide unit and an autopsy on the woman’s body, police said there are no signs of foul play.

A vigil was held for the woman on Sunday, outside the housing development she lived in. She was originally from Garden Hill. Neighbours said she “loved to laugh” and will be missed.

Police will not be releasing the woman’s name.
