Police find woman's body in Winnipeg's Tuxedo area

Police are investigating an area 200 block of Doncaster Street after they received a call to check on the well-being of an individual.
Winnipeg police continue to investigate after the body of a woman was found in Winnipeg's Tuxedo area Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Doncaster Street at about 9:50 a.m. CST.
Police said the woman's body was found in the courtyard of a Manitoba Housing Complex.
Police are interviewing people in the area.
There is no word on what may have happened.
The identity of the woman has not been confirmed. The cause of death is pending results of an autopsy.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
