Man stabbed in Winnipeg

A 52-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed in Winnipeg.
He was found Thursday morning lying on the sidewalk at Parr Street and Selkirk Avenue in the city’s North End.
Two patrolling police officers were alerted to the man by a passerby at about 2 a.m.
At this stage of the investigation, police believe the man was beaten during a robbery attempt by another man and woman.
The victim was walking home when he was confronted by the two attackers, who ran away after the incident.
