Winnipeg fans, businesses rejoice at NHL lockout deal

Fans of the Winnipeg Jets, along with businesses in the city's downtown, are eager to watch the team hit the ice again now that the NHL lockout appears to be ending.
The NHL owners and the players' union reached a tentative deal early Sunday. While it has yet to be ratified, the agreement is widely seen as precipitating the end of the lockout after more than 110 days.
News of the tentative agreement sparked excitement in Winnipeg, where many hockey fans have hoped the Jets will be able to play this season, even if it is a condensed season.
Meanwhile, local restaurants, bars and stores that rely on the NHL to attract customers say they hope to rebound from the impact the lockout has had on their business.
