There is some relief for consumers who overspent during the holidays — gas prices in Winnipeg are dropping to their lowest levels in months.
Prices across the city are hovering around the 1.05 range but there are deals to be had. Domo shaves five cents off their regular price on Mondays and Thursdays and members at Costco can fill up for 99.9 cents per litre.
Those are the lowest fuel prices since Jan. 19, 2012.
The Canadian average right now is 118.5.
Ryan Scott, who was filling up his car in Winnipeg, said the timing couldn't be better.
"Most definitely, a break at the pump, everyone wants that right? Plus, buying Christmas gifts and using the gas to go back and forth. It's a really good break," he said.
