People in Winnipeg rally in support of Israel

Hundreds gathered in Winnipeg to show their support for Israel Sunday. (CBC )Hundreds of people gathered a the Asper Jewish Community Campus in Winnipeg for a rally in support of Israel in its conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Last week a ceasefire between Gaza and Israel went into effect and as of Sunday it still holds.
If the truce lasts it's expected the crossing between Israel and Gaza may re-open, allowing for the movement of people and goods.
People at the rally told CBC News they hope to see peace in the region sometime during their lifetime.
