Family members of Brad Lambert, a Winnipeg man who was last seen over a week ago, say they want to search a larger area for him.
Lambert, 46, was last seen Nov. 15 in the Marchand area, where he bought supplies on his way to go deer hunting in southeastern Manitoba.
Brad Lambert was last seen Nov. 15 and was reported missing last weekend. Crews have been searching for the 46-year-old man throughout this week. (Winnipeg Police Service)He was reported missing over the weekend, after he failed to show up for a shift at work.
RCMP searches, including an aerial search, have turned up no sign of Lambert or his Ford F-150 pickup truck.
"We're all just so concerned, and it's just such a mystery that it's just so difficult," Sue Lambert, the missing man's sister, told CBC News on Friday.
Sue Lambert, who came from British Columbia to support her brother's wife and son, said search efforts to date have been concentrated in the area of Sandilands Provincial Forest where he was going hunting.
But she said the search area should expand to include nearby communities, including the city of Winnipeg.
"Search and rescue and [Manitoba] Conservation have been doing a thorough search, and we still have not found his black F-150," she said.
"So we need to expand that search and, really, we need people to be looking everywhere for that truck."
Lambert said it's not like her brother, a family man, to simply disappear.
Brad Lambert was last seen driving a black 2011 Ford F-150 pickup truck with Manitoba plate number FGK 157.
He is described as being six feet tall and weighing about 240 pounds. He has brown hair with some grey on the sides and was last seen wearing camouflage clothing.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call a local police agency or the Winnipeg Police Service's missing persons unit at (204) 986-6250.
