Winnipeg police seek potentially dangerous offender

(Winnipeg Police Service)Police in Winnipeg are looking for a man who was released from prison last week, but is now wanted for violating his probation conditions.
Jamie Charles Grieves, 28, was released on Friday, after serving a four-year sentence for arson.
Grieves is now wanted by police for allegedly failing to comply with a recognizance order, police said Tuesday.
Grieves is described as about five feet 11 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his upper right cheekbone.
Police would not confirm reports that Grieves has links to gangs, but they said he is considered to be dangerous.
Anyone who sees Grieves or knows of his whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but to call the Winnipeg Police Service immediately at (204) 986-6222.
