A 45-year-old man was stabbed in Winnipeg after getting into a fight with a cyclist.
The man was walking Monday afternoon on Marion Street in the city's St. Boniface area when a man on a bicycle bumped into him, police said.
That led to a fight, which ended when the cyclist stabbed the man in the upper body, police said.
The 45-year-old made his way to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition.
An 18-year-old man was located and arrested in the area a short time later by police.
He has been charged assault and weapons offences as well as failure to comply with a previous sentence and breach of probation.
He has been detained in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
