Man arrested after 2 fires in Winnipeg

An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a pair of early morning fires in Winnipeg's North End on Thursday.
The first happened just before 1:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Stella Avenue.
A detached garage and car were damaged.
Shortly after that, on the 500 block, another car was found burning.
Officers in the area found and arrested a man.
The arson strike force continues to investigate.
No other information is available.
