A second man has been charged with manslaughter in connection to the beating death of Winnipeg teen Paris Bruce.

Richard Beaulieu, 36, is now in police custody after being picked up on Thursday.

The arrest comes a day after police announced the arrest of Michael James Guimond, 34, and the first charges laid in connection to the crime.

Paris Rene Cameron Bruce, 16, died Sept. 7 at Winnipeg's Health Sciences Centre, three days after being found injured in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Police believe the beating is tied to a confrontation between rival street gangs.
