Winnipeg police profile missing men cases

The Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit is profiling four historic cases of men that have gone missing dating back to 2008.
The purpose of re-releasing the information is to generate new tips or information to help solve the cases, which are unrelated, police said.
Phillip Morin
Phillip Morin (Winnipeg police service)Last seen by his family in May of 2008, when he was 30, Morin was residing on Colony Street in Winnipeg. He has not been heard from since.
It is extremely unusual for him not to have contact with family members for an extended period of time, police said.
He is described as aboriginal, five feet and seven inches tall, 140 pounds, with long black hair, brown eyes and a slim build.
Brent Alexander Staple
Brent Alexander Staple (Winnipeg police service)
Unidentified man (Winnipeg police service)Last seen on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at 6:26 p.m., leaving the front door of an apartment block in the first 100 block of University Crescent. He was in the company of an unidentified male.
Staple was 33 at the time of his disappearance and is described as Caucasian, five feet and 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short brown hair and hazel eyes.
He was last seen wearing light coloured blue jeans, dark jacket, dark T-shirt, black work boots and a baseball hat with the logo of Air Unlimited. He was carrying a shiny Labatt’s Blue duffle bag and a second bag over his shoulder, possibly a cooler.
The unidentified man is described as Caucasian, five feet and 10 inches tall, about 180 pounds, 60 to 70 years old with short greyish hair, wearing wide-rimmed glasses and walking with a noticeable limp.
Kerry Klyne
Kerry Klyne (Winnipeg police service)Also known as Darren Klyne, he was last heard from on Nov. 26, 2010, and was believed to be in Winnipeg at that time.
Klyne was 27 at the time of his disappearance.
He is described as aboriginal, six fee tall, about 230 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
He also has a small scar on the left side of his mouth.
Klyne was known to have spent time in the past frequenting the Osborne Street area of Winnipeg.
Ryan Richard Slobodzian
Ryan Richard SlobodzianHe was last seen in late December of 2011 in the downtown area of Winnipeg. He was 37 at the time.
Slobodzian is described as Caucasian, five feet and 11 inches tall, about 175 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Investigators are concerned for his well-being.
