Aberdeen Avenue incident sends 1 to hospital

Winnipeg police closed off part of Aberdeen Avenue for much of Tuesday to investigate what appears to be a serious assault.
Police say emergency crews were called to Aberdeen Avenue, between Charles and Aikins streets, at around 8 a.m. CT Tuesday.
A male victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The Winnipeg Police Service's identification unit spent the day examining the scene.
No arrests have been made to date.
