Man, 29, dies in van crash and roll

A 29-year-old man died when the van he was a passenger in crashed and rolled early Saturday morning, police say.
According to RCMP, the crash happened in the Rural Municipality of Alonsa, somewhere along Highway 278 west of Lake Manitoba.
Officers from the Ste Rose du Lac RCMP detachment and local emergency crews were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. CT.
Police said they believe a 2003 Dodge Caravan carrying three people left the road and rolled at least once.
The female driver, 21, and a male passenger, 29, were not injured in the crash. The passenger who died was thrown out of the vehicle in the crash and died at the scene, police said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no names would be released, they added.
