Logan Avenue repair shop raid nets drugs, charges

A Winnipeg man is facing drug-related charges after RCMP raided a car repair shop on Logan Avenue on Wednesday.
RCMP say they seized about six ounces of crystal meth from a car repair shop in the 1900 block of Logan Avenue in Winnipeg on Wednesday. (RCMP)RCMP say they stormed the shop in the 1900 block of Logan at around 8 a.m. CT.
Officers found $60,000 worth of crystal meth as well as some drug paraphernalia and cash, police said in a news release Thursday.
The 53-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody.
He has been charged with trafficking of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, and breaching a court order.
