Cross Lake woman dead in rollover

A 67-year-old Cross Lake woman is dead after she was thrown from her vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP said police and local emergency services were called to the scene of the single vehicle accident on highway 374 near Cross Lake around 2:00 pm.
Police said the vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet station wagon, was southbound when it left the roadway.
The driver was taken to the local nursing station were she was pronounced dead.
Police said she may not have been wearing a seat belt.
The woman's name is not being released. Police continue to investigate.
