A body found over the weekend just north of Selkirk was that of a 25-year-old man from Hollow Water.
RCMP released a statement Wednesday saying an autopsy conducted in Winnipeg identified the body as 25-year-old Corey Donald Williams.
He had been reported missing to the Powerview RCMP detachment on Jan. 12, 2012.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
RCMP had no further information, other than to say the investigation is ongoing.
