RCMP on scene of human remains near Selkirk

Police major crimes investigators were searching for evidence in a wooded area just north of Selkirk on Highway 4 after human remains were found there Saturday evening.
Selkirk RCMP, along with members of the RCMP Major Crimes unit, forensics and search and rescue are investigating.
Police have not said whether the remains were male or female or if the discovery was considered suspicious. Police said an autopsy will be conducted.
