Two people are in stable condition in hospital following a two-vehicle crash that happened this morning on Portage Avenue and Berry Street.
Winnipeg police say emergency crews were called to the crash at 8:43 a.m. CT Sunday.
It appears one vehicle had careened into a building as a result of the collision, while the other is flipped onto its side.
There are reports that emergency crews had to cut the roof off one vehicle in order to get people out.
Two adults were taken to separate hospitals in serious condition, but they have since been upgraded to stable condition, police said in a release shortly after noon.
The intersection of Portage Avenue and Berry Street was closed to traffic in all directions for most of Sunday morning.
Traffic collision officers continue to investigate the collision, so the intersection is expected to remain closed for part of the afternoon, according to police.
