NBA sets pre-season game for Winnipeg

The National Basketball Association is tipping off in Winnipeg this fall, for a pre-season game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons.
The game is part of the NBA’s first-ever Canada Series, which will also feature a preseason game in Montreal.
The game is set for Oct. 24 at the MTS Centre.
The Toronto Raptors will face the New York Knicks Oct. 19 at Montreal's Bell Centre.
