A house fire in Winnipeg caused an estimated $75,000 in damage on Tuesday.

Police and fire crews were called to the 400 block of Toronto Street, in the city's West End, at about 4:30 a.m.

No one was hurt.

The damage was mostly contained to the back of the house and a neighbouring garage, fire officials said.

The cause is under investigation.
