Man from The Pas faces child pornography charges

A 56-year-old man from The Pas is facing child pornography charges after he was arrested by police Wednesday.
The RCMP apprehended the suspect at his home, seizing his computer and other items.
The man is charged with possessing, accessing and making child pornography available on the internet.
Police said the there is no evidence the man has come in direct physical contact with any of the children in the images.
He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in The Pas Provincial Court on June 18.
