Winnipeg house fire sends 3 children to hospital

Three young children are in stable condition in a Winnipeg hospital after a fire broke out in a house on Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to the fire on the 300 block of Andrews Street, near Mountain Avenue, around 11:15 p.m. CT.
The children inside the home, who range in age from one to three, suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to hospital.
Fire officials say the fire started when a pot of food overheated in the kitchen.
