3 in hospital following crash on Henderson Highway

Investigators are looking into the cause of a crash between a truck and car on Henderson Highway Saturday. (Wendy Buelow/CBC)Three people are in hospital, one of them reported to be in critical condition, following a crash on Henderson Highway in Winnipeg Saturday.
Police said an officer happened to be on patrol in the area and actually witnessed the crash and immediately went to the scene to provide assistance.
The crash happened at about 4:15 a.m. CT on Henderson Highway near Springfield Road.
Police said a truck and a compact car were involved.
Three people in the car were taken to hospital.
Two females, aged 17 and 19 years, were transported in stable condition and an adult male was transported in critical condition.
The lone male driver of the truck was not injured. Investigators were on the scene for several hours.
