Pan Am Pool reopens after watermain break

Pan Am Pool and Recreation Complex was closed for several hours due to a large water main break.
In addition to the facility, 13 homes and one apartment block were also affected by the water main break on Cambridge Street between Lorette Avenue and Carter Avenue.
Crews were working on the break since it was noticed late Thursday. The city said service was restored around 3 p.m. CT.
The pool re-opened shortly after.
Two water tanks were sent to the area to provide drinking water for residents.
