The RCMP in Manitoba have seized an estimated $2 million worth of marijuana in a grow-op bust north of Gimli.

Police said Tuesday they executed a search warrant at a rural home near Camp Morton on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg and found a marijuana grow operation with more than 2,000 plants being cultivated.

Police estimated the street value of the seizure is approximately $2 million.

Two men from British Columbia face a number of charges including production of a controlled substance, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police continue to investigate.
