Body recovered from Red River

A body has been recovered from the Red River in Winnipeg, police have confirmed.
Winnipeg police said emergency responders were called to the riverbank near the 2100 block of Henderson Highway just before 2 p.m. CT Sunday.
When the responders arrived at the scene, they located the body and removed it from the water.
Police would not release further details about the discovery, except to say the investigation is continuing.
