Drunk driver charged in fatal Norway House accident

Norway House RCMP said a drunk driver ran over someone lying in the road, killing them. (CBC)A drunk driver ran over a young man lying in the road, killing him, Norway House RCMP said.
Police said they responded to the accident at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
It's believed a man, 24, was lying on a road in the community when he was run over by a pickup truck driven by a 37-year-old man, and killed.
Police are not releasing any names but have arrested the pickup driver who faces impaired driving charges.
An investigation continues.
Norway House is about 30 kilometres north of Lake Winnipeg on the Nelson River, about 750 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
