A man, 19, has been charged with manslaughter at Norway House Cree Nation.

RCMP were called on Sunday, just after 3 a.m., to an outdoor disturbance on the reserve, located about 450 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

Officers found a man suffering serious injuries. He was taken to Norway House Hospital but died.

He has been identified as 18-year-old Marlon Mink.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday in Winnipeg to determine the exact cause of death.

Corman Vincent Robert Scribe, 19, faces charges of manslaughter, uttering threats and pointing a firearm.

Both men are from Norway House Cree Nation.
