Two more teen girls have been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing last week in front of the Merchants Hotel in Winnipeg.

Sheila Fontaine, 42, died as a result of stab wounds she received during an argument with a group of girls outside the Selkirk Avenue hotel on April 20 around 8:30 p.m.

A 17-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl were arrested on Wednesday and charged in connection to the incident.

An 18-year-old woman was charged with manslaughter earlier in the week.

The two girls arrested Wednesday have been detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
