Crown plans to oppose request on Wednesday

A bail application hearing has been set for James, who has been held in the Winnipeg Remand Centre for the last month after turning himself in on an arrest warrant.
A spokesperson for Manitoba Justice said the Crown will oppose his bid for bail.
James is facing nine sex-related charges over a 15-year span and involving three boys, including Theo Fleury, who would go on to star in the National Hockey League.
James pleaded guilty in 1997 to repeatedly sexual assaulting two teenage players and was sentenced to 3½ years in prison.
He was pardoned in 2007, but that wasn't public knowledge until it was revealed last April.
