Three people are in custody after several businesses in Winnipeg's St. Vital neighbourhood were broken into on Tuesday. (Google Maps)Winnipeg police are investigating a rash of break-ins to businesses in the city's St. Vital neighbourhood.
At least five businesses — including a vet clinic, electronics store and hair salon — had their doors or windows broken and items stolen on Tuesday.
The incidents happened between 4:20 a.m. 6 a.m., police said.
All businesses are located in the area of St. Mary's Road and St. Anne's Road.
Three people, two men and a woman, are in custody but no charges have yet been laid.
