The night sky was lit up with flames in Winnipeg's Centennial neighbourhood Sunday. (Jacob Oldenkamp)Fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage to a vacant 2 ½-storey house in Winnipeg Sunday night.
The fire broke out just after 10 p.m. and gutted the residence at 364 Elgin Avenue in the city's Centennial neighbourhood.
Two neighbouring homes sustained some damage but it was minimal, fire officials said, noting no one was hurt.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
