A fire that impacted four businesses in the small Manitoba town of Austin has been ruled accidental.

The cause was electrical in nature, the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner stated on Tuesday.

The blaze, which broke out around 11 a.m. Sunday destroyed Kathie's Beauty Salon and an attached suite.

It then spread and destroyed Ernie's Warehouse and also caused smoke and fire damage to two other nearby businesses, RCMP said.

No one was hurt.

Damages are estimated to be in the range of several hundred thousand dollars, RCMP said.
