2 arrested in drug bust in Winnipeg

Two people were arrested and a variety of drugs worth more than $40,000 was seized from a residence in Winnipeg on Wednesday.
According to police, the bust netted 37 ounces of crystal meth, psilocybin, hashish, and hydromorphone tablets, along with more than 3,300 ecstasy tablets.
About $7,000 as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia werre also seized, police said.
The items were found during a search of the home in the 500 block of Leila Avenue in the city's Garden City neighbourhood.
A man and a woman, both 33, were arrested and are facing several drug-related charges.
They have been released from custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
