Winnipeg records first homicide of 2007

Winnipeg police say an argument between two men and a woman Monday night at a North End residence resulted in the city's first homicide of the year.
The verbal dispute at the residence in the 900 block of Alexander Avenue turned into a physical altercation between all three people involved, police said.
A 29-year-old man was stabbed. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition, and later died.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ovide Herman Moar, 30, in connection with the stabbing.
