An 18-year veteran of the Winnipeg Police Service was arrested Thursday and faces a total of 20 charges, including 15 counts of sexual assault and five counts of sexual exploitation.
Const. Richard Norman Dow, 52, was arrested following a lengthy investigation by the service's professional standards unit.
All of the allegations involve activities conducted while off duty, according to a police news release issued late Thursday afternoon.
He has been released on a promise to appear in court.
Dow ran Ricoco International, which was registered with the province as a talent agency for models and actors.
In February, some of Ricoco's clients alleged to CBC News that Dow did not give them modelling or acting jobs he had promised them.
They also alleged Dow did not pay them on time for work they had received through him.
None of these allegations have been proven in court.
