Temperatures are expected to climb a few notches above 0 C today in southern Manitoba this Easter Sunday.

Saturday saw highs in the 2 C range in Winnipeg and the surrounding area, and it looks like conditions will be a bit warmer Sunday. Brandon is expected to reach a high of 9 C; Morden and Steinbach are both forecast to hit the 8 C mark; and Gimli and Dauphin should see highs of 2 C and 3 C, respectively.

Overnight flurries and fog patches across parts of the south petered out into the morning, giving way to a mix of sun and cloud.
