The province's latest flood forecast says there could be some minor to moderate to moderate flooding along the Red River.

But officials said however, there is nothing to indicate Highway 75 will be closed.

They also said they don't expect the Red River Floodway to be operated, in contradiction to what they said back in February.

The forecast said the risk of flooding in the Winnipeg River Basin has increased somewhat due to snowstorms in Ontario and the Lake of the Woods area.

It said the outlook across Manitoba could get worse with a major storm, but so far Environment Canada isn't expecting above-average precipitation.
