The City of Winnipeg's Annual Snow Route Parking Ban has ended.

The ban, which prohibits parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on all streets designated as snow routes, goes into effect on Dec. 1 every year and ends Feb. 28.

But that doesn't necessarily mean spring is on the way. Nor does it mean a parking ban won't be implemented again this year.

Winnipeg is still deep in a winter freeze and if there happens to be another dumping of snow, the city will issue a parking ban to allow crews to clean up the streets.
