Semi-truck hits bridge near Brandon, shears off roof

RCMP are investigating after a bridge gave a semi-trailer a haircut near Brandon.

RCMP are investigating after a bridge gave a semi-trailer a haircut near Brandon.

The driver misjudged the height of the Kemnay Bridge when he was driving down Highway 1 around 1:30 on Thursday, and ended up shearing the top off his truck before it became wedged underneath the bridge.

No one was injured in the crash, but traffic was interrupted in the area for hours.

Officers continue to investigate
